BSA Supports Focus on Promoting Innovation in Senate Roadmap on AI

BSA | The Software Alliance CEO Victoria Espinel applauds the efforts of the AI roadmap to focus on innovation and calls for a federal data privacy law.

“The Senate’s bipartisan roadmap for AI policy places a welcome focus on promoting innovation in technology and recognizes the benefits of AI across the economy and society,” Victoria Espinel, president of BSA Software Alliance, said in a statement. The trade group, which represents more than 40 companies including Cisco Systems Inc., Oracle Corp. and Microsoft Corp., said it also welcomed the outline’s call to advance a federal data privacy law.
