Flexibility urged for data laws

Following an interview with Jared Ragland, BSA Senior Director, Policy – APAC, this article appeared on The Nation in light of the Thailand government’s aim to submit four bills to the Cabinet covering cyber security, data protection, electronic transactions, and the establishment of the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA). Nutzung unlizenzierter Software sinkt in Deutschland auf 20 Prozent - weltweit steigende Sorge vor Data Hacks und Malware

Um Risiken durch Cyberangriffe zu reduzieren und reibungslose Geschäftsprozese zu gewährleisten, sollten Unternehmen Unterlizenzierungen ihrer Software beseitigen und effektive Software-Asset-Management-Prozesse einführen. Dies ist die Kernaussage der neuesten Auflage der diesjährigen BSA | The Software Alliance Global Software Studie. In Deutschland ist Software im Wert von 1,3 Mrd.
