Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook and IBM were among the top ten recipients of fresh H-1B visas in the 2019 fiscal, according to data from US Citizenship & Immigration Services. The Personal Data Protection Bill should remove non-personal data from its ambit, BSA, the global software alliance, wrote in its submission to the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Bill. The clause is too broad and encompasses all data other than non-anonymised personal data, BSA argued.
